If ever Mom had a signature cookie, this was it!  If you knew Mom, Dad or any one of us, you knew and loved these cookies.  They are “melt in your mouth” delicious.  They appeared at every birthday, graduation, anniversary, Christmas, communion, and “just because” party.   If a friend called and said they were stopping by in half an hour (as Mom’s friends often did), Mom would whip up a batch of these cookies and have them on a plate before her friend arrived.  Coffee or tea and these cookies made for a million good memories for Mom, Dad, their friends, us and all of our friends.  Whip up a batch, and enjoy!
